Raleigh maternity and newborn photographer – Miss Jee’s Photography – Matt and Shanika

Meet the stunning Shanika and her awesome hubby, Matt. Shanika and I met almost 8 years ago when we both worked in the childcare career fields. We became instant friends even though we only saw each other once a week for 30 minutes. Over the past 8 years, we have both dated, gotten engaged, married and had a baby. 🙂 I was blown away when she asked me to photograph her wedding. I was even more honored when she asked me to capture her journey of bringing her sweet little girl into this world. Her session was one of the only ones I did while on maternity leave last year. It was a very cold fall day in a very full and busy park in Wake Forest. Shanika braved the cold and put on her yoga attire and we had a blast. Her love of tie dye and yoga are reflected in her maternity session and I hope you enjoy this beautiful and fun session.
