Can we say, HELLO OCTOBER! We have welcomed the warm days and cool nights which is the beautiful and steady rhythm of Fall. My air conditioner has been off for days and the windows are open while the cool breeze flows through my house. We have kissed the 100 degree days goodbye and are preparing for hot soy chai latte’s, sweatshirts and chilly movie nights. Very quickly, Miss Jee’s Photography has jumped into the busiest season yet and with life quickly passing and the long work days, I have to remind myself to stop and enjoy the “now.” I have decided that I want to share more of my life with y’all! What happens behind the lens, what I see through it and when I am in front of it. When I become busy and life is slightly chaotic, I tend to say, “Work is work” and the rest will remain separate….. well, that is great except when you’re a photographer. I started Miss Jee’s Photography because I was photographing my life and people liked what they saw. I was passionate and creative and constantly saw beauty in what surrounds me. Whenever work gets busy and I stop picking up my camera to capture my own life, it disheartens my creative heart! I love to capture life. The good, the bad, the “ugly”. I want to remember it all through my lens. So, expect more posts from me, Ann, and what is going on in my life. Miss Jee’s Photography is my business, yes, but photography can’t be separated from my life. It’s just a part of me. 🙂

and the last picture was taken by the awesome Brittany Pelegrino who did our 3 year anniversary session at the beach this past weekend. At the very end, she snapped it on my camera and let me edit it. You’ll be seeing a lot more of Brittany, her work, and our work together!
What’s on the horizon for Miss Jee’s in October? Well, 4 family sessions, A family of 10 (3 separate families flying in to NC for family photos), 2 days of Christmas Mini’s, and 2 weddings! November will be here before we know it!
